BIAB 2008 does run under Windows 7, according to a few other fairly recent threads. Of course, as you say, the update to 2012 would be very nice to have.

Under 'Support' you will find a whole series of FAQ and if you do a search using Ctrl+F, you can find advice about that 'in use' error. If you don't find it, write back and we'll find the link for you.

I highly recommend you stay on this forum rather than go to email, since there are many of us who can help you in a public forum.

You should, however, be in another area of this site, the 'regular' BIAB for Windows forum, rather than here in the Wishlist.

Post your specs, especially the sound card or soft synth you are using, so we can help you with drivers. There are only a few situations where you must use ASIO4ALL.
