I think you can do it. You should record each harmony part on melody track, as usual, than move them to soloist track, so to keep the melody track empty and ready for a new recording. Once all harmony parts are done, you can decide if keeping them on soloist track or moving to melody track again or splitting them on the two tracks.
I assume you already know that the program has a large number of harmonizations for melody and soloist itself, by the way.
