Thanks for the help rharv......I had previously edited my own post but didn't seem to get posted. I found that 'bboutput.txt' file was a 'hidden file'....Anyway I changed the file attributes and then RB was able to write to the file and now we have joy.....NOW, to find out what program or whatever is changing some file attributes?????? Thanks again for your reply.
