Why don't you use FLAC for the audiophile version?
Would it help in avoiding another hard drive on our desks?

Using FLAC would add time to the loading of the files as they would each have to be converted.
Some like the WAV files for the better audio quality because they either are using BIAB predominantly to make recordings or simply can afford "pristine" audio files, others who use BIAB in live performance may simply like the faster loading time vs the compressed schemes, even the WMA conversion adds to the amount of time before a loaded song can be started. I haven't stopwatched it, but would venture to say from simple experience that converting FLAC would likely take even longer than converting from WMA. There may also be licensing hurdles to cross, too. $$$

I understand your opinion, and I don't know how much a BIAB file would be compressed.
What I wanted to say is not to use the flac instead of the wma, but using the flac for downloading the uncompressed files instead of getting a useless hard disk.
I have 3,32 tera of hard disk space plus 2 external ones, so why adding a new hard disk for the audiophile realtracks?

FLAC for the purpose of downloading might be viable.
Meanwhile, I guess we just copy from their hard drive to ours and archive their hard drive to keep the original files fairly safe.

I always have two copies of everything plus the original.
So I hope PGmusic will think about FLAC for downloading the 2010's audiophile BIAB
