I've been away from BIAB for quite a while and am just trying to get back up to speed.
I SEEM to recall that there was a way to view various fingerings for a given guitar chord in the Leadsheet view.
I'm not talking about substitutions where you can choose DIFFERENT chords but rather a chord fingering display of alternative ways to finger the same chord.
Is that possible in BIAB or am I thinking of a different software program??? I remember being able to click on the chord diagram and get a display of a different way to play the chord.

i think what you remember can be found in the NOTATION veiw, using Options window, rather than the leadsheet, although once invoked via the Notation window, they would likely appear on the Leadsheet for printing. IIRC this can also be done from the Guitar view, although that may not be what you are looking for here.

Alternatively, outside of BIAB, an add -on product that was delivered with other packaged software products with an upgrade of BIAB, called Guitar Chord Dictionary shows multiple ways to play the same chord, with fingerboard displays. You can hear the different variations as well. Is this what you might have been thinking of?

Mac...I couldn't find anything in the Notation view that does what I recall being able to do (I'll rephrase below).
DrDuBose...if the Guitar Chord Dictionary program can't be integrated into BIAB to accomplish the following, it's not what I am looking for.
The object is to choose alternative fingerings for the same chord at different neck positions...AND to have the related fingering diagrams appear either in the Notation window or the Leadsheet window so they can be PRINTED out...since I suffer from long term loss of short term memory!!! (-:
My long term memory isn't too bad and I REALLY recall being able to do just that...but possibly in was in a different program...Jammer maybe.
If that can't be done in BIAB it would be a good Wishlist item.

Just did a chat session...AMAZING that it is available on a Sunday!!
There isn't any way to do what I'd like to to in BIAB and apparently never has been. So, I'll just have to draw in my own diagrams!!! (-:
Such a capability DOES exist in other programs so I will send in a wishlist suggestion to BIAB.
