Hi again, thailoneous,
My apologies. I misunderstood your post. From the the thread's title, I thought you had upgraded from 2007 to 2012 and were experiencing problems. I now interpret your posts as trying to get 2007 running on Win 7/64-bit.
There is no way of getting the VSC/DXi to run in a 64-bit environment. Many people on here over the last 3 years or so have tried and tried, and no-one has yet succeeded. The only soft syth options for 64-bit operating systems are:
(a) the Coyote Wave Table that ships free of charge with BIAB 2012 but will not work for 2007 (as far as I'm aware, I'm not sure on this though);
(b) Coyote Forte ($40) which gets great reviews from users and should work for 2007;
(c) TTS-1 that comes as part of Music Creator ($39); TTS-1 also gets great reviews from users and again should work for 2007.
Reading the "Features" link on the PG Music sales pages ...
Music Creator:

I'd like to say that if you can ever see your way clear to upgrade to 2012, you'll be incredibly impressed. There have been many changes since 2007. Also, sooner or later, PG Music will be running a special on upgrades and these are always a good opportunity. Lastly, the UltraPlusPAK will give you pretty much everything. (That's the one that most of us in the forums use.)
Kind regards,
Noel
