Terminology is the issue, actually.

"Transpose" -- Music stays in same Concert Pirch key, but the Notation is changed by the proper number of semitones up or down such that instruments that are built in different keys can read the notation. Examples include but not limited to, Eb Alto Saxophone, Bb Tenor Saxopphone, Bb Trumpet, etc.

"Key Signature" -- This is where you change the actual Key of the song.

Band in Box terminology is correct, something I've always loved about the program, but we use a living language where "transpose" has come to mean the same thing for both and that can be confusing.

Same problem exists for defining a Chorus. BiaB uses the correct "music school" definition of a Chorus, but it is likely that most people today think of the chorus as being defined by the lyrics instead of the music itself.
