First, have you ascertained that you are running the latest updae version of 2010.5?

Use Help -> About to find the version number and compare to the pgmusic Update page for 2010.5 -- if your version number differs from the last version update posted, download and install that last one, all the previous updates will be included in it.

If your version has the *Freeze feature in it, make sure the drums are not Frozen.

If you have done that already, try this:

Whenever BiaB doesn't do something that it is supposed to do, Try the Return to Factory Settings under the option menu.
