Band-in-a-Box 2012 Build 52 is available: http://www.pgmusic.com/support_macintoshupdates.htm Summary of changes for Build 52- Fixed: Rendered files are now named lowercase (.m4a, .aiff, .wav) so that they can be downloaded from your Mac to the Band-in-a-Box iPhone app. (More details here:

- Fixed: Some Non-English versions weren't displaying track names correctly.
- Fixed: Hint for the Band Button.
- Fixed: Strings for international (non-English) version.

Just downloaded the iPhone app. Great addition to 2012 BB for the Mac!
PS Using the Bonjour Tag in Safari it is easy to connect to your iPhone BB app. No need to fill-in the IP address.

How do you do it without entering the IP address in safari ? I can download from my mac, but I can't figure out how to generate songs on my mac from the app.(and get them back on my iPad)
We need a tutorial for this..there's no BIAB server application (on the mac) to found anywhere?

@ Svenne: Bonjour is a menu item in Safari. Start the app on your iPhone, Start BB 2012 on your Mac, switch to Safari again and choose File/Download fromPC/Mac on your iPhone . Now click on Bonjour/Webpages/iPhone and presto!

That's cool ..I see..
But..How do I get the song i enter on the iPhone/ipad rendered on my iMac? (I just get a "please enter server IP" when I hit the red play button)

It's a bit complicated now, but you have tot render the song to audio on your Mac. After that choose the original BB file (e.g. test.MGA) for upload to your iPhone. The play button is green now and the song plays on your phone!

You need to have a m4a copy of the song, so that you have My Song.mgu and My Song Render.m4a
The easiest way to do this is to load the song (eg. My Song.mgu) , and use the menu on the Combo radio button (top left of screen) and choose "Save song as m4a audio file". You will then have My Song Render.m4a
( repeat this process for any number of songs that you want to do)
Then run the iPhone version, choose File-Download and then you can use the Safari browser to select the songs. Note that you need to select both the m4a and the mgu in Safari. An alternative is just to make a single ZIP of all the files that you want to transfer (mgu's, m4a's , including subfolders), and they will download and preserve the subfolder names.
Note that you need to have Mac BIAB 2012, build 52 or higher for these functions.

The only BIAB app I find on the appstore says that you BIAB for Windows. Is that the same app that works with Mac ?
