This difference in versions is a result of Mac changing the software/operating system, and making it almost impossible to compile the program.

If the compilers existed for the software, then the two would be the same.

This is not the fault of the developers, (PG music) but of 'Apple'.

At one point, there were NO compilers or support for the language the programs used.

What would thus happen?

I do not remember the language Dr. Gannon and his staff were using, but we should agree that if you wrote an book in Greek, and suddenly the publisher said the entire book must be written again in Russian, you get the idea. Not an easy thing.

This is not because PG music do not WANT to have both programs the same. The fault is with Mac/Apple.

I have beta tested for many years the PC version. I recently got an Imac 27" computer AND an iPad, the newest and largest. But remember, software requires the computer end to make the program to compile.

Question:

Can you guess how many lines of code in some language Band in a Box requires?? I wrote Business Basic software for Accounts Receivable in the early 80's and each of the 10 modules was over 50,000 lines of code. If they stopped making the compiler for that, I would have been out of business and lost my house.

As was said: Patience, grasshopper.
