Hi BiaB-ers,
can Band-in-a-box playing any song with more VST plugin?
For example, I have Edirol Super Quartet VST plugin, Acoustica Pianissimo VST and Garritan Jazz Big Band VST plugin, and I would like play some song in BiaB in following way:
drums track ... on channel 10 ... plays with drums section in Super Quartet VST
bass track ... on channel 3 ... plays with bass section in Super Quartet VST
guitar track ... on channel 2 ... plays with guitar section in Super Quartet VST
piano track ... on channel 1 ... plays with Acoustica Pianissimo VST plugin
melody track ... on channel 4 ... plays with Garritan Jazz VST (saxo)
solo track ... on channel 5 ... plays with Garritan Jazz VST (saxo and trumpet)
How (and where) can set BiaB for playing in this way?

Not at this time.
At least, not by itself. BIAB can only address one MIDI output port at a time.
There may be ways to do this using aftermarket softwares, like the free MIDIOX and MIDIYOKE (websearch can bring up the download links) -- be advised that it can get complicated at each startup, though.

this is why PG brought out Realband so you can do what you want to,i have managed to use Garritan JB&BB but its a lot of work each time you play a new tune

I don't think those MIDI hubs can do it, since you can still only select one output and those hubs offer more MIDI outputs yes, but well that is only if BiaB would also support that. They are not referring to several virtual instruments, but just create extra "MIDI outs". I personally also think that it is a pity that one cannot have several outs...
So I think since you can't do that, you could use a soundfont player plugin and create your own soundfonts though. More work and not exactly what you wanted, but well that is all I can think of right now. I tried it before and it works, but as Mac allready says, it is a bugger to have to set it up every time after starting the program. (at least that is what I think you ment Mac)
