Ver. 2012, latest build
As may have been noticed, I have started to use BiaB again after about a year or so hiatus and I’ve noticed some new glitch.
I drag the R/T instruments audio over to Windows explorer to use in my sequencer.
The drum audio, before the drumstick count-in, starts immediately with a loud screeching noise.
And, also, about a half-measure after a solo ends, there is a very tiny little scratchy pop noise.
This has happened in each song so far and with different styles and instruments.
I can easily remove these things in my DAW but I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this and if anyone knows how to fix it.

Ever listen to raw live tracks recorded in a studio? Someone said here when he listens to a raw acoustic bass track it sounds like the guy is doing a brake job on a Buick.
But you say you simply go into Explorer and drag the raw files into your DAW? Are these generated parts or just the raw audio RT's? That's not how they're supposed to be used. You should use Biab or Real Band to generate the parts first then you use the D&D function to your DAW unless I'm misunderstanding you. Explorer is not necessary in most cases. The "generating parts" function automatically handles those things you're talking about. Loud screeches and pops should not be there in a generated track but your "tiny little scratchy" noise could be normal since these are basically raw recorded studio tracks with little processing. Post processing is up to you.

Some people pay good money to get sounds like that!  Reason users in particular. (See system specs below.)

Have not experienced anything like that here, using BB2012.5 and latest updates.
Don't think this is a program bug as we have not heard anything like it before, but anything's possible.
It is a possibility that the DAW software is set to a different bitrate than 44.1/16 and the conversion process is the problem.
Am wondering what happens if the OP tries other methods of export, such as drag 'n drop directly into DAW instead of to Explorer window first, then to DAW, or using the Render to separate .wav files method...

No, certainly. These are BiaB generated instrument tracks from a finished song.

Sorry, Mac, thanks, but that's not it.
The noises are in the wav file itself.
They can be heard in Media Player, Audacity, etc.
Nothing to do with the DAW.

I can try that but I used to drag directly into the DAW.
But then I pointed out about a year ago that when the next BiaB USB hard drive upgrade arrives, all of the dragged tracks disappear!
Peter suggested I drag to Explorer instead so my files can be backed up and also still be there when the next version comes out.
I thought was a great idea so that is what I do now.

I cannot account for why you now have to drag to Explorer and why what used to work doesn't, but I can verify that I regularly hear noise at the beginning of the drum track when I drag 'n drop into SONAR.
The noise occurs at the beginning of what would be the two-bar count-in.
I just slide the handle of the beginning of the drum track one measure and this removes the problem. Alternatively, I mix everything down to stereo and edit out the beginning.

Good to let people know I'm not crazy. 
Agree, it only takes two second to clean up.
But it does appear to be a little glitch and PGM may want to know about it.
And, just to be clear, it's not a question of dragging used to work and now it doesn't.
What happens, by design, is that when an instrument is dragged into another application (such as a DAW) the resulting wav file is stored within the \bb structure which, if running from the USB drive, stays on the USB drive.
Eventually, that drive will get replaced when purchasing a new version of BiaB.
If one goes back into the DAW and tries to open up a project, the application will not be able to find the audio tracks because they're gone!
As mentioned, this is by design.
So, to avoid that, Peter suggested to drag into the computer's C drive instead.
This way the files will always be there, even after upgrading.
Makse sense?
(Note: there is a setting to change the default folder for dragged files, but that actually didn't seem to work.)
