It's the same on my laptop using mme and on my DAW using line6 kb-37 toneport asio drivers. I use the DXi VSC.
Both op sys' are Vista home premium - one machine is AMD dual core Turion 64 - silver and black dual headers overhead cam with a holly 4 and a hurst shifter on the mouse pad ;-) - the other is Dual Core also - both have 2 gigs ram.
