You would have to give PG Music sales a call to be sure, but they have always been more than fair. I know they have done something similar for some other users here, according to their posts.
You will be amazed at the improvements since 2009, but you will feel right at home using the new version.
There is a standard piece of advice around here to 'buy as much as you can afford', because you will want all the RealTracks once you start working with them.

Thanks, Matt and Mac. Naturally I missed Mac's reply before I went ahead and bought the Ultra Plus Pak!
Hopefully if there's a new release soon, they'll be generous with upgrade options for recent purchasers.

Welcome. I'm not Mac, just another user, and we users do not know anything about official release dates. While there has often been a mid-year release in July/August for the last several years, there wasn't one this year. There is normally a new version each year a few weeks before Christmas, but again, past practice is no guarantee of future action.
