Hi Guys,before anyone says it, wrong forum i know, but this will get the quickest response, I dont see any "new features" for real band, is this coming later, as i find this easier to work in rather than band in a box.thanks Ade

Welcome to RealBand 2013
RealBand is a fully-featured and powerful music arranging, sequencing, and digital recording program that is included free with Band-in-a-Box.
It can be used as a stand-alone music workstation, or together with Band-in-a-Box as an all-in-one sequencing program with automatic accompaniment.
RealBand 2013 for Windows is here with lots of cool new features!
Now you can control RealBand from your iPhone and save songs as Band-in-a-Box files with the RB Remote app. The new Print-to-PDF button prints your notation in the popular PDF format, ready to upload or email. There’s added support for audio formats like .MP3, .MP4, M4A, and .WMA files, including Jukebox play. Recording is made easier with an Input VU meter on the main toolbar and pre-roll for punch-ins. You can generate multiple RealCharts for multiple MultiRiffs, even if they use the same instrument, add multiple songs at a time to the Jukebox play list, batch convert groups of files in a folder with enhanced batch rendering, and much more. New Features in RealBand 2013
Here are the new features added in RealBand 2013.
RB Remote Support - The RealBand remote for iphone, ipad, and ipod touch, can be purchased for 99 cents from the app store, and allows you to control many aspects of RealBand remotely. There are transport features, which include play, stop, rewind, forward. There is a mixer that displays volume, pan and VU information for every track. Conductor features allow you to jump through your RealBand song seamlessly. And, there is a chord window that also allows you to jump to different points in the song, and view the chord progression as the song plays back. You can save songs to Band-in-a-Box MGU/SGU files.
There is now an Input VU meter always open on the main toolbar, great for keeping an eye on input levels without the need to open a separate VU Meter window.
The Punch In dialog now has a pre-roll feature that automatically starts playback by a specified number of bars and beats before the start of the punch-in point.

In the Notation, the Print Options dialog now has a [Print-to-PDF] button that lets you print the notation directly to a .PDF file.
In the Jukebox you can add multiple songs at a time to the play list when you click on the [Add to Play List] button. This is especially useful for loading a set of songs all at once, or loading all of the songs in a folder into the Jukebox.

In the File menu, the Save As command now supports saving to MP3, .MP4, .M4A, and .WMA files. MIDI tracks are automatically rendered to audio and saved in the file. Note that your system must have the codec installed for the type of file you want to save (e.g. MP3).
File | Open now allows opening of .MP4 and .M4A files. This means that RealBand supports virtually all common MIDI and audio formats in addition to its own .SEQ files and Band-in-a-Box ?G? files.

Batch File Conversion
The File menu command Batch Convert will convert a group of files in a folder over to another file type (.SEQ, .MID, .MP3, .MP4, .M4A, .WAV, .MGU, .SGU). So let’s say you want to convert your RealBand songs to MP4 files.
It’s as easy as entering the location and file type (or all files) for the files that you want to convert and then choosing the output file type and location. There is also the option to add a suffix to the file names to identify the rendered files.

◄ Left and right ►cursor arrow keys will move the current time forward or backward by 1 beat in the Tracks window and Audio Edit window
► You now have the added ability to select a region of the song during playback in the Tracks window and some other windows like the Audio Edit window and Chords window.

RealBand can automatically generate RealCharts after you have chosen multiple riffs, if the "Also Generate RealCharts" checkbox was enabled in the track’s right-click menu.

RealBand also supports Multiple RealCharts for the same RealTrack soloist number. If you happen to have multiple tracks with the same RealTrack soloist number, you will see separate tracks for each RealChart.

- Resizable Lead Sheet - the Lead Sheet window will now adjust the height and width of staves automatically when resized.
- Improved section letter and section text entry.
- Solo/mute duplicated on the Audio Edit window toolbar.
- ESC key cancels RealTracks and RealDrums - pressing ESC to quit RealTrack generation will now prevent RealDrum generation from happening afterward as well.
- Mouse wheel support for horizontal scrolling the row of masters or auxes in the Mixer Window in addition to the row of tracks.
NOTE: This will occur if the scroll wheel is moved and there are less than the full amount of tracks, masters, or auxes visible, and if the mouse cursor is over a particular section, and if the Mixer is the currently active window.
- Jukebox plays most popular audio files. As well as RealBand and Band-in-a-Box files, the Jukebox can now play your audio files in the most popular formats like WAV, WMA, MP3, MP4, M4A, etc.

101 New RealTracks!
With Band-in-a-Box 2013, we’ve added a huge number of new RealTracks (101), with great new Jazz, Pop, and Country Styles. And of course you can use all of your Band-in-a-Box RealTracks to create parts or whole tracks in RealBand!
The new RealTracks include:
- Jazz RealTracks: Classic Jazz Piano (Boogie, Piano-4-to-Bar), Easy Listening Guitar Swing (Oliver Gannon), Smooth Jazz Acoustic Piano, Dixieland - Medium Soloists (Clarinet,Trombone,Trumpet,Ac.Guitar), Guajira & Guaracha (Bass, Percussion, Piano, Tres) and more.

With Band-in-a-Box 2013, we’ve added 50 Great MIDI SuperTracks, including Piano (Classic, Traditional Jazz, Modern Jazz, Celtic, New Age), Strings (Pop, Jazz) and more. MIDI SuperTracks are fully supported in RealBand.
