Loads into windows media player here, but just flatlines with transport moving but no audio heard.
I'm going to now try downloading the file itself and see if it can be played back in something like Audacity or the likes.

Don, I just DLed the wma and imported it in RB. All I got was 4 minutes of silence, i.e. no wave forms at all.
Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!

No joy. Realband opened the downloaded file, but just like with windows media player, all one can do is see a flatline and hear nothing here on this machine.

I'm having the same problems with playback, but for those who've heard it, I think this might explain its familiarity even though you can't quite place it: http://www.everythingisaremix.info/watch-the-series/Fairly long if you listen to all 4 parts, but worth the effort...

Same story here, Mac and Mario. The transport moves slowly across (the .wma version, that is), but nada!
Color me totally piqued and curious, George. Sherlock Holmes is quite dull (unduly dull) by comparison.

So, it did play on this machine and few hours ago so being the nice guy I am, I thought I would try to record via my speakers, but alas now it no longer plays...

Just when you guys think I went away!!!?? I am now on my annual vacation and as luck would have it my BIAB 2013 arrived yesterday! So now I am camping in my studio and phoning downstairs for food and drink I am really happy with it, I must say. I checked out Sleepwalk on Youtube, quite a few SAX versions, definitely not it SO, I battled with the song in RB as it was, dropped the pitch to a key that I could follow on the tenor, figured out the chords and then went to BIAB. There was a gospel 12/8 style but its mostly midi... Then I started trawling the styles and decided on _TBLRKSL BluesRock 12/8 I dropped the alto sax on the strings and popped in a 12/8 (only one) Pedal Steel. I sort of got the chords following a structure that I liked and then exported/rendered the wavefile/s I imported each track into RB and slapped the melody in. You experts must please not be too harsh, kept the 5th take just to get it here to give it a final try. So if anyone that could not get the other 2 versions to play give this one a bash I will appreciate it. What is the name of this song? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/53162169/pgmusic/NotSleepwalk.mp3 (I must spend some time now to practise it properly, so excuse the sputters here and there.) If no one has an idea I will keep it and name it "NOT Sleepwalk" as I also have Sleepwalk in the arsenal now. Later
I'm doing allright for Country Trash ....
I used to care, but things have changed (Bob Dylan)

I like the song. I don't know it. So it probably might be an African original -- opposed to American, European. (Not that I know everyy song of that time frame, but since a lot of people around the world are not familiar with that song...)
I think you might have a lot more chances to find the title if you're looking up instrumentals of the area and time frame.
As I said, I like the piece and also would like to know more about it.
Added the statement in parentheses.

I have also started to suspect that it could be an original. The clue for me was the length, in the soundtrack it is actually over 5 minutes. It could have been a studio band helping with the background music for the series... I think they stretched it to match the scene..
I still think it is a stunning instrumental (my point of view) and i am playing it quite regular now ... Getting the hang of it.
The Bluesrock style I chose is actualy growing on me ...

Yes, that was my first impression as well... that it was an "original" done for the film by some small combo who basically just blew a standard type melody over standard type changes. We might have heard this anywhere on the planet at any prom after about 9:00 p.m. or any wedding after about 12:30 any time over the past 60 years.
Is there a name for a melody "meme"? A "memody"?
And as for the length, I was only able to listen to it once before it was taken down and went away, but I was sure I heard a "seam" in the middle. A "join" which represented a replay of the track to extend over the long conversation in the foreground... Listen again, and let us know if you agree.
