You should be able to copy over whatever is on the 2010 drive. You would not need to reformat it first, but you could if you wished. The only reason not to reformat first would be if that drive contained extras from bonus paks of the past. Of course, first back up any song files you have written that may be on the older drive. They will have extensions of .SGU and .MGU.

As I recall, 2010 may be a version before the Elastique algorithm was introduced, and the size and number of the RealTracks was much larger then than now. But double-check first and make sure the old drive is a large enough capacity to hold what you bought for 2013.
