Edit the style using the Style Editor, delete the mandolin and save it under a different name. (The new 2013 release has added the ability to delete an entire instrument from a style in one stroke. Nice. Quote:
StyleMaker “delete Instrument” function has been added.
This function is handy if you need to remove an instrument from a style. After selecting the instrument that you want to delete, from the StyleMaker, choose the menu option Style- Delete Instrument.
Then load that style instead.
