First, an explanation. I've posted one song before to this site ('I'll be In A Honky Tonk') under the name Phil Scully. However, I suddenly realised I was using Soundcloud under my stage name, Phil Babylon. Before it all got too complicated for me I thought I'd better re-register here as Phil Babylon - which is who I'll be on this site from now on. Apologies for any confusion. Computers and I don't always make the best partners!

Anyway, the same day I put 'I'll be In A Honky Tonk' together, I also did this song, 'Why Would I Want To Do That' to provide the guys in the band with an idea of how it should go. So, I suppose this is my second BIAB attempt. It can be found at: https://soundcloud.com/phil-babylon/why-would-i-want-to-do-that

Same approach. I used BIAB style: _BALADFI.STY. Country Ballad w/ fiddle (65 RS)for all the basic work. Then imported waves into Acid and added some powerchords in the chorus. Vocal was again a first-time attempt using a cheap Tandy mike. I guess I'll have to go and get a better recording interface if I'm going to start doing better demos!
