Realband handles multiple input sound devices differently than Band in a Box does, you can assign which Inputs and Outputs are available from the Tracks View, by the track.

Other than that, I don't foresee any problems, but bear in mind that I have not had hands on experience with that particular M-Audio device.

However, M-Audio is noted for very good drivers and follow on support. And, we know that BB and RB work and play well with other, older M-Audio sound devices from user reports. I have used the Audiophile and the Delta 1010 M-Audio cards with pgmusic products successfully over the years. Others have reported much the same good results using some of the M-Audio USB devices, such as the discontinued Fast Track and Fast Track Pro.

If the Direct Input Monitoring on this particular mentioned new model works as the Direct Hardware Monitoring does on the older offerings, then, yes, it should be able to configure such that you can route those inputs accordingly. Be advised that the way of thinking and methodology is different from what you likely are used to doing, there will be a little bit of a learning curve to that, not too bad IMO. Read all documentation through before attempting to install the thing, make sure you understand all directions before proceeding, many times problems happen to folks because they don't take that step with the newly acquired goody.
