Waiting for permission to post an address for contributors.
Amy is the personification of love and caring. I credit her for keeping this tired old Irishman alive these past three years and loving me as her adopted father.
Anyone wanting to make a small contribution, please PM me for the mailing address. I assume that PayPal would be okay but she doesn't know anything about it yet. But I can give her email address to anyone wanting to use PayPal.
Yes, she had insurance but she had about $1000 in uninsured losses, clothing, family photos, personal effects, etc. I don't want her to profit from tragedy, just become whole again. Its an opportunity to give something back to someone who gives so much of herself so selflessly to those in her care. Yes, I have given as much as I could afford.

Whether this gets the go-ahead or not, I have your personal address so I will send it to you and you can pass it on to Amy. She is so very deserving especially since taking in those little children and raising them as her own. I wonder if she was able to salvage the music video that we made for her? That all came right out of BIAB.

Thank you for mentioning BIAB and keeping this music related.
Actually, the wedding CD that you and I gave her (using BIAB) as a wedding gift is loaded on her phone so it survived the fire.
I'm looking at a wall full of greeting cards from musician friends worldwide, mostly from this forum, which gave me courage to post Amy's tragedy. You know Amy through my eyes and there were many more loving gestures too personal to list.

To make this more personal, I have added the following YT link to Amy's recent wedding. The smile on Amy's face is ever-present. The video is only about 7 minutes, please have a squint. I did the soundtrack in Band-In-A-Box, of course. The three children are, in fact, Amy's grandchildren, whom Amy has legally adopted. The wedding is being held at my Nursing Home and was a surprise gift to Amy from staff and management. Sorry, Don, I didn't see it till now -- I was away for the weekend. Have you thought of fundraising with IndieGogo? They do charity, and unlike Kickstarter they're geared toward getting the money right to the person in need. And, if you use Flexible Funding, you don't even necessarily have to hit your goal.

Tom, that sounds wonderful. May I ask you to start the ball in motion for Amy. What information will you require?
I've been terribly ill all week so I've fallen out of sync until today. I've been rewarded with a few more rounds of fight. I don't think I can survive another flu like this.
Please let me know what additional information that you will require.
A total recovery fund of $1,000.00 would make her whole again, I suspect. Nothing can compensate losses of photo collections and personal treasures. Knowing that she is loved will go a long way toward healing her pain. For some unknown reason musicians seem blessed with an extra ration of loving compassion.
