Nobody knows what real viking music sounded like. They had no notation and all their CDs are out of print. Abba doesnt count.

If I were aiming at music suitable for the invasion and pillaging of unsuspecting coastal villages, I would open the BB folder, then "Artist Performance Sets," then "Artist Performance Set 3 - Celtic..."
Listen to all the songs, try the styles they use. Try simplifying the melodies. Leave out the 4ths and 7ths.

Also look in your BB folder and see if you have a folder named "Folk Songs." This came free with certain generations of BiaB install sets. Lots of Celtic-type stuff there.

In the Soloist track, pencil in some pairs of long pedal notes as roots and fifths. A little like a bagpipe, p'raps.
