Inside Band in a Box, in the toolbars, is a big round green SEQ button.

Hit the SEQ button and you can view the MIDI tracks list as the program sees it, that may help find out what's going on.

Note the checkboxes to Play or Not Play a track, there could be some of them set to not play the track, although I don't know why that would be.

"Tracks" can be a confusing issue here, because the Tracks are usually named according to what is on a particular MIDI channel.

If there is a missing part, check it in a full sequencing software to make sure that it is assigned to a different MIDI channel than the others, also that the channel is between 1 and 16. And, if using a GM synth, any notes on track 10 are likely to be on the Percussion Channel and won't be heard. Changing that track to another channel should get it to notate and play as desired. Some few MIDI synths out there may use channel 16 as Percussion Channel, too.
