First thing to try is reboot the computer. May be that resources are messed up.
If still no joy:
Options menu, "Return to Factory Settings"
Try the first button there first, if that doesn't restore proper operation, try the second button, which also resets MIDI and Audio wizards.
If still no joy, and it is happening when RealDrums are active (Drums in Green) it may be time to do a defrag on the hard disks involved. c drive as well as any other drives where you may store realdrums/realtracks.
