*All "standard" MIDI files are not created equal. This goes doubly for free files downloaded from the internet.

*The MIOI standard can have the percussion on MIDI channel 10 or on MIDI channel 16 for "standard" GM. Depends upon the synth used to create the file.

*On top of that, the file may have been written using a non-GM MIDI synth, in which case the drums may be anywhere.

*Some MIDI files may be calling a Drumkit patch that existed on the synth used to create the file, but may not exist on the synth you are using to play back the file.

*inside BIAB, there is the REALDRUMS control panel, where, if you have it set to substitute RealDrums instead of MIDI drums, it may be the case that the MIDI drums have simply been globally muted. Uncheck that first line in the RealDrums Control Panel to see if that is the case.
