some of the older styles do indeed have Volume data imbedded in them. "zz" styles are the oldest, and there you go.

HOWEVER, there may be a way here. Prefs-> Override and take a look at what you can uncheck there, like Volume. This is a Global Setting which will affect all songs.


Also, on the main Prefs window, you might experiment with the "Environment Options" -> "Okay to Save/Load Reverb,Vol etc. w/Songs" command.
