Those chords in the Intro are 8th notes, which is two per beat.

Band in a Box does not support two chords over one beat.

You could try a workaround, using Bar Settings to set the Intro 4 bars to twice the Tempo of the rest of the song and get the chords to do this as Hits on each beat of the faster tempo bars, don't forget to set the following bar back to the real Tempo.

Style choice is likely going to be important here as well.

I think that a SWing style should work, possibly some of the EVen styles as well. Listening to the song on youtube as I type (been years), I can indeed count along subdividing i SWing triplets. Matter of fact, that's WHY the Intro chords as straight eights are so interesting here, they imply a straight thang, but only during the Intro, then it shifts to Swing feel. Good example of the use of contrast in the rhythm.
