Sometimes PC resources get hammered for some reason when I'm working up a songfile in BB. The problem edxhibits itself in BB not doing something it is supposed to do, such as we see here, and the cure is indeed to shut down BB and any other programs and Reboot the computer to restore those resources. My S.W.A.G. is that the resources I'm talking about are likely Memory issues, but at any rate, the Reboot often solves the problem at hand.
Good time to take break, visit the coffee pot is my approach.
