Hi all,
I have a couple of boxes for which I often find myself switching the inputs and outputs - for example, I have a TC Helicon voiceworks that sometimes I input my guitar, other times microphone. Same for another multi-effects processor.
Is that the purpose of a patch bay - to connect multiple inputs at the same time, to avoid moving cables around ?
Are there other good studio uses you can suggest, as I decide if it's a piece of equipment that will make my life easier ?
Also - are all patch bays created equal, or do some offer advantages over others ?
