You can also Save all your MIDI tracks as a Standard MIDI file first.

I like to do that with certain projects that have a goodly amount of MIDI in them, because then after hitting New in RB or PT the first thing I do is import that MIDI file and the Tempo, Keysig, bars, etc. fill themselves in to suit.

Then you can use whatever method you want to bring in any Audio tracks, D&D, Export and Import, in some cases, even cut 'n paste.
