As I understand it:

Real Band is a DAW. Digital Audio Workstation.

When you create a song in BB it has real tracks in it but may styles are midi and sound like "midi".... it may sound OK but nothing to really write home about..... but there is a better way.

Save and close the BB file. Then open it in Real Band. RB will generate the tracks as audio using the most appropriate RB tracks and players.

I use RB exclusively to generate tracks for use in the songs I write. I follow the path I outlined above. Not only can I generate the bass, piano, drums, and guitars.... but I also use RB to create the fiddle, steel, and other tracks that may or may not be included as standard in the given style I chose.

For example the hard rock styles rarely have fiddle, steel and dobro, but I can easily add those instruments using RB to generate them.

Go and listen to some of my songs..... they all (with very few exceptions) are RB generated tracks. I play guitar, mandolin, and piano, so many of those tracks are me playing and not RB.

Add nothing that adds nothing to the music.
You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both.

The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
