Well I hardly ever use the horn while driving as well, but I do play with that keyfob panic button now and again, plus, my Ford beeps the horn when locking the car, once if all doors are shut tight, but will give out a double beep if one or more doors is ajar, that way you know that the car is not secure. My Ford keyfob also turns on the factory alarm system when used to lock all doors that way.

So I get to hear a slight tap of the horn pretty much daily.

Now, the Little Woman doesn't hear the difference at all. Many is the time where a car is beeping out in the lot and she'll panic and say, "Is that OUR car?" and I'll just say, "No. if it was ours I'd already have been movin' and you'd be standin' here by yo'self..."

After all, my ham radio is in there.

A man's got to have priorities.
