I finally finished the song "Voyager" I've been working on since the beginning of 2007. It went through about 13 revisions before I finally settled on something I liked. I used BIAB for the drum parts and used a 24 MB general midi soundfont for the actual sounds. I recorded guitar, bass and vocals direct in to PT 12 and then used my POD Farm VST plug in on all of those parts. I did use some of PT EQ's a little bit here and there.

Hope you like it.

Cooooool Mate. Has a touch of The Doors in the vocals. Good on ya. Ya might put just a touch of reverb on the voc parts. Not much. Just enough to add some feeling. Back the rhythm guitar off just a tad. Not much. Also sounds a bit like everything is in the left track. Hardly any in the right.

This is a top quality piece of work. I can tell a lot of thought went into it.

Cheers.

Well, I guess I listened to Traveling Man -- Voyager is "not currently available" according to MySpace (what a pain MySpace is).

LOL -- as I was listening to Traveling man, I was thinking "why would he be working for over two years on a simple 1-4-5 blues number" -- but it was the wrong song! If you ever decide to post on something besides MySpace, let me know.

Oh well,

Kevin

Edit: Looks like swanman got to listen -- I don't know why MySapce won't play it for me.

Yeah a few tweaks is all that's needed. Took me back to my drummer days. Like it a lot.

"Voyager" still refuses to play for me -- are you sure you guys above actually listened to it and not Traveling Man? (It switches to "Traveling Man" automatically for me).

Hmmm...I'm not sure why the Voyager song is not showing up for some. I have it set as the top song on the list. I'm having trouble with the picture though. The picture is not showing up, it's the same picture as the main picture to the left. I've tried to upload it again and again but it keeps giving an error.

Thanks for all the comments.
