how do I save biab files that have real tracks as well

Band in a Box can save all songs in BiaB formats.
But I bet you are trying to ask something else here.
Are you wanting to Render your song to an Audio Format such as mp3 for web publishing or other uses?
Or perhaps you want to move the project to a DAW to continue working as a multitrack recording?
Tell us exactly what you want to do.

If I understand what you're wanting, once you get each part the way you want, right-click on the past name and select "lock Bass part", "lock piano part", etc... (I'm going from memory, so it maybe named slightly different.) After that, click on the "Save as" button and that should save your song with part intact.

thanks for your answer you are spot on I want to save them to put on a web site as mp3`s my converter program will only convert midi files and I don`t seem to save my files as midi it does not save the real tracks or am I doing something wrong

"Direct Render" through use of a DXi synth is the fastest way and it will include both RealTracks as well as any MIDI tracks in the finished mp3, whatever is in your song, including also the one Audio Track, all mixed down and sounding exactly like it does when you just play the song back in BB. The FAQ page has an explanation and PGMusic has a Tutorial Page as well: http://www.pgmusic.com/techfaq29.htm#12 The Tutorial is located here: http://www.pgmusic.com/tutorial_bbwrender.htm Don't be intimidated, it is easy to do, once you understand what to do. "Use DXi" must be checked and a DXi MIDI synth must be selected. Again, it will also Render any Audio Tracks present as well, to include RealTracks. --Mac
