In Realband there's also a function called "Multiriff". This will allow you to generate multiple Cello tracks and you can compile a master track by copying and pasting from the different tracks. I often use this feature.
Alternatively, simply generate a number of Cello tracks and pick out the bits you want or, as others have already said, regenerate the region you want to change.
