If you want MIDI guitar that really tracks well and is smart enough to interpret string bends, vibratos and such -- ya gotta don't just stand there talkin' trash, if ya wanna have fun ya gotta spend some serious cash. Good quality MIDI guitar pickup and translator box, either the Roland GK series plus Roland synth as translator box, or the much more expensive but very serious Yamaha MIDI guitar stuff that many studio pros use. Tracking with a lot of those Yamaha setups is almost like playing with standard pickup through an amp. Godin makes Classical nylon string guitars and other flattops with built in MIDI that tracks like a dream come true, BTW. Flamenco MIDI would indeed be possible. http://www.godinguitars.com/ --Mac
