looks good except that if you want to be a pedant, the apostrophe should be this one ' The one you used - ` - isn't actually an apostrophe...

Your question caused a little chuckle. We sometimes forget how confusing American-English can be to a non-English speaker.
Here in Oklahoma, any reference to "Native American" would be the correct way to refer to our aboriginal people. "Indian" is incorrect, although commonly used. So your question could result in one of many Native American tribes answering in their own language, and there are probably a hundred different aboriginal languages spoken in Oklahoma alone.
Tribes are subdivided into clans and, frequently, each clan may have a modified form of the language.

My advice to you would be to think up something to say that does not continue an argument.
You can choose to win someone over to your point of view, or you can choose to merely keep whatever tension that exists going.
Besides that, you can make a bigger statement, one that reflects love and understanding, which can indeed break down old arguments and old barriers.
Especially when it is supposed to be a gift.
Please think about that,

I didn't take it as Sandra attempting to win her Dad to her point of view. Usually when a person wears a shirt with a slogan, it is expressing the opinion of the person wearing the shirt, not the opinion of the person who gave it as a gift. I'm guessing Sandra is giving it to him to express HIS opinion, not hers.
