There was recently a lengthy discussion with another user on these boards about just this. The consensus was that, unless you have some truly stellar gear (and ears to match), there is no real reason to use the audiophile version, simply because you and your audience probably can't hear the difference.

It would be a good idea to have the audiophile version if you were using BIAB to produce music for profit in a professionally equipped studio just so that you would be starting with the best source material possible, but again, for the average user, not so much.
