Well here I am again considering if I need the new BIAB2014. I want it yes but do I need it, will I use and benefit from the new stuff on offer?
I asked this question last year before buying EverythingPak (not audiophile version) and I'm seeking info again on same subject. Is there an improvement on sound quality Std vs Audiophile that is really noticeable? I live in UK so buying the audiophile edition and getting it shipped is not a quick or cheap option. I'm tempted to keep with the std (downloadable) versions because of cost but not knowing the difference between the two versions is bugging me! From last time I got the impression not many bought the Audiophile version?
Has anyone done a AB comparison we can listen and compare?

There was recently a lengthy discussion with another user on these boards about just this. The consensus was that, unless you have some truly stellar gear (and ears to match), there is no real reason to use the audiophile version, simply because you and your audience probably can't hear the difference.
It would be a good idea to have the audiophile version if you were using BIAB to produce music for profit in a professionally equipped studio just so that you would be starting with the best source material possible, but again, for the average user, not so much.

I agree with Richard. Paul, a problem here is that if one made such an A-B demo, posting it as an MP3 on something like SoundCloud would strip out the difference.
