Yes it will work as expected in my experience.

Depending on your Operating System and desired use, there may be a learning curve. I have yet to use a 101LT on Win8, but all previous OS have worked fine.

It wasn't the sending to multiple outputs that I liked as much as the ability to record to multiple inputs. What is your intention or main desired feature/use for sending to multiple outputs?
It does send to multiple outputs just fine in my experience, but if you have a special need, you may want to investigate further. For instance if you are looking to mix 'surround sound' using brand X software .. or some special need like that.

If you simply need to be able to assign tracks in PT to separate output ports, it has been very reliable.
Ask questions here as they come up, like I said, there may be a learning curve, but it has been very reliable for me and others I know of.
