Prefs->Colors->Editable Text can be used to change the color of the background of the Line Based Lyrics slot, that can often make them an easier read for me using a Yellow or Red background. I don't know of a way to change the color of the actual text letters themselves, but that doesn't mean it can't be done.
I don't think we can change the size of the old Line Based Lyrics fonts, the slot there likely limits that.
BUT - editing the song over to Note Base Lyrics, one can use the Lyrics Percentage command in Notation Options to blow 'em up real BIG.
Don't forget about the BIG LYRICS WINDOW here...
