*Try under the Opts. menu, "Return to Factory Settings" and you may have to try both buttons there, try the top button first, if no joy try again with the bottom button, which also resets soundcard and MIDI synth setups.
(And that is a much better and faster method than re-installation of BIAB in entirety. It usually works when things go awry, that's why it is there. )
