In Real Band the volume reacts a lot slower when I work the faders.. I also tried Asio, & the music is delayed.. When I hit a piano key, there's a delay. But when I go back to MME & hit a piano key I get immediate sound.. This is a clue, but a weird one. MME is not usually faster than ASIO. Guess I'd suspect the Realtek soundcard drivers. The Solo button delay issue sounds like the buffer setting mentioned in my previous post. Lower the buffer for quicker response, but going too low can cause other problems, so note the working setting before changing.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
