We need more information on this.

I'm familiar with Nero Express. When i'm about to burn an audio-CD I select the eighth-note-icon, then Audio CD, then I add files and then burn the CD. They play on any CD-player.

Most CD-players don't accept anything but Audio-CDs, some newer ones take also mp3-CDs and some others will accept DVDs.

I most often use 700 MB CD-R blanks, fewer times I use 650 MB CD-R blanks.

Background: Audio-CDs use a specific format. This format is NOT wave, not mp3...it is a format for Audio-Cds only. Your CD burner transfers all readable music file formats into this specific Audio-CD format. More information is available on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_Disc_Digital_Audio
