Hi Percy,
I have never seen Embellishment Notes in "static" Red here, going all the way back to original versions of BB.
However, if the Notation is set with "Clean" notation not checked to true, the note highlighting as each note is played defaults to Red - but only when the note is actually playing, moving the Red to the next note, etc.
That may be what you remembered.
