Today, my wife and I celebrated our 55th year of marriage. We marvel at how fast the years went by. I was an 18 year old who thought he knew everything. My education started that day and I've come to the conclusion that I don't really know much of anything.
Anyhow, I think my wife deserves a medal for sticking with me for all these years. Perhaps she'll have an extra star in her crown, when the heavenly rewards are passed out.
I've have been truly blessed to have a wife, such as she.

Congratulations on the big 55th.
My wife and I celebrate our 6th tomorrow. I finally found the perfect match for me, it only took three tries. During that time she has had to endure my liver disease, and watching me die slowly. Only to have her faith renewed by a series of last minute miracles which resulted in saving my life. Then she was in a head on collision, almost killed, and still trying to recover physically while putting up with me.
God knows how to put the right people together. Some, like you and your wife, get it right the first time...Congratulations and may you have a continued very happy life for a long time to come.
