I'm thinking that this feature is for existing BB mgus rather than midis.
Hold that thought, for it is almost there. But reread what I told you above about the Melody and Soloist tracks being "static" tracks. If its an mgu file that has a MIDI Melody part on the track, the automated Waltz/De-Waltz won't be able to change the notation entered on those tracks, but BB might well insert Rests to suit the extra beat, don't know because I've never tried that. But I would think it would be a daunting task for BB to be able to rewrite a 3/4 existing Melody to 4/4 because of the extra beat in each bar. What to do with it? Rest, or Insert a note...
