Hello All,
I have some songs ready to render to MP3 that I've been working on since 2014 was released.
In the past, I've worked almost exclusively in BB, but now want to try RB for fine-tuning and rendering the mgu files.
The MP3 sounds good, but I noticed that the F5 volume settings made in BB aren't sticking in RB.
I have tracks muted in BB, but they play throughout in RB.
In the song summary, RB even indicates indicates the volume changes.
Anybody else come across this ? Thanks for any insights.

Hi Percy,
Have you installed the latest update for RB? The most recent build is build 3. This was released on Dec 23.

Percy,
Muting via F5 in BIAB definitely works me in RB. I used it only recently.
Are any of the tracks frozen in BIAB?

Muting will transfer over to RB but Volume Change may be a horse of a different color.
RB is designed such that you have MIX CONTROL over the tracks, which are not a set of Repeated Choruses as in BB, but are laid out along a single timeline.
That is part of the design, actually.
And - what's the point of mobing a project over from BB to RB if all you want is the audio file of the bb performance?
No gain there, just make your mp3 file inside BB and done.

For the first and last 4 measures, intro and outro, as well as the middle, I have a specific midi bass line (kind of a signature lick). Otherwise, an RT bass is playing.
I'm going to double check the bar settings in the F5 window. Lots of muting, unmuting, and back to normal going on.
In most instances, I do all my audio work in BB, but ran out of tracks for this one tune.

I am with Mac on this. Since I record to Wav/MP3 for my self only, the move to RB seems to be a waste of time. Lot's of experience using the features in the Bar Settings and Song Settings can yield good and quick results, and you do not have to leave BIAB. Just my 2 cents.  -----Leon
