Muting will transfer over to RB but Volume Change may be a horse of a different color.

RB is designed such that you have MIX CONTROL over the tracks, which are not a set of Repeated Choruses as in BB, but are laid out along a single timeline.

That is part of the design, actually.

And - what's the point of mobing a project over from BB to RB if all you want is the audio file of the bb performance?

No gain there, just make your mp3 file inside BB and done.
