Nope, it's not on the same [MIDI] channel; everything is on the same track (the melody track), but the channels are still split out. As Lyn said, you'll need to use the Seq button to work with the actual channels (and make sure they don't conflict with other BIAB tracks, if you choose to use them). Remember, BIAB is not a full-fledged MIDI sequencer, so you won't have the same control as with RealBand. In the SEQ screen, you can click on EDIT for each channel and do a number of things. The only tracks you get to work with, however, are the melody and soloist tracks, since the other tracks are reserved for BIAB style parts. But you can move channels out of the melody track to the soloist track.

Just play with it until you get the hang of it (use a copy of your file, so you don't lose any work).
